During the time that I was sick, I lost a lot of weight. Feeling thin and beautiful was intoxicating. While my physical health has healed, I am still having issues repairing my relationship with my body.
In today’s post, I discuss how I cope with rumination. It’s hard to constantly dwell on the past. Not only that, it can lead to depression. Maybe a few of my coping skills will help you out the next time your thoughts are spiraling downward.

When the storm sweeps you underwater and you’re hit with a deep mind-numbing depression, I want you to have hope faith that things will change.
Sometimes I wonder why I have a hard time saying “no,” to others. I wasn’t always this way. I reflected on my experience in school and wrote this post. I realize that the educational system may be causing kids to feel like they do not know what is best for themselves.
Getting held back in middle school did a number on my self-esteem. I wanted to remind you that you are enough. You are beautiful. You are worthy. Being vulnerable and sharing your story may help boost your sense of self-worth.
