“You will learn a lot about yourself if you stretch in the direction of goodness, of bigness, of kindness, of forgiveness, of emotional bravery. Be a warrior for love.”Cheryl Strayed
I want you to think of me as your self-worth angel, your worthiness goddess, (hey I like the sound of that!) or your gentle reminder that you’re good enough as you are right now.
That’s right: you are beautiful, you are enough, you are worthwhile.
You may be thinking, “Why would I feel better about myself just because some stranger told me that I’m worthwhile?”
When you recognize and resonate with the pain, love, and humor in my stories, you may start to feel better.
When I’m feeling down, I like to read memoirs. These people get true adversity. Yet, they’re still being brave and sharing their stories. They found meaning in their struggle.
These authors helped me to remember that I’m not alone in this world.
This isn’t a one-way street. Sharing intimate parts of myself is helping me to feel more worthy as well. Mustering up the strength and courage to share my story and live my true purpose has been profound.
Here’s what I’ve learned: no matter how society may label me, I’m a worthwhile human being. I decided to call this blog “Label Me Worthy,” because worthiness is my brand, my label.
Remember, you’re not alone.
